Balancing cutting-edge technology and innovation with the timeless skills of expert artisans, Yamaha pianos have come to represent an unsurpassed standard of affordable excellence.
Yamaha Upright Pianos
Yamaha designed these elegant instruments in popular American furniture styles and tailored them with high quality hand-rubbed finishes. Each one is carefully crafted with proven materials, components and precision manufacturing to the premium standards that have defined Yamaha pianos for more than a century. Their combination of beauty, craftsmanship and price represents pure value.
Cable Nelson Grand and Upright Pianos
The Cable-Nelson brand traces its roots to 1903 in Chicago, when Fayette S. Cable purchased two small piano companies. These companies, Lakeside Piano Company and Sweetland Piano Company, then became the Fayette S. Cable Piano Company. The Cable-Nelson brand resulted from a merger with the Nelson Piano Company in 1905. The Everett Piano Company bought Cable-Nelson in the late 1920s, moving its manufacturing operation to South Haven, Michigan. In 1954, the Hammond Organ company acquired both Everett Piano and Cable-Nelson.
Yamaha purchased both Everett and Cable-Nelson in 1973. Now, 105 years after its beginnings, Cable-Nelson resumes its tradition as a great piano at a modest price.
Now, virtually anyone can own a quality instrument designed and built by Yamaha. These Cable-Nelson pianos are perfectly suited for home piano players who desire Yamaha quality at a more affordable price. They live up to the company's worldwide reputation for outstanding service, exceptional value and reliable customer support.
Falcone
Falcone Piano Co. was established in 1982 by Santi Falcone and imported pianos to sell in his retail stores. Purity and sweetness of tone, evenness of scale, great durability, superb case designs in the richest of woods, and high commercial value have always been the hallmark of a Falcone piano. Its reputation, now impregnably secure, has extended from ocean to ocean and even beyond the nation's boundaries. It is a piano high up between the recognized leaders and one whose brilliant career has already been fixed and whose future is secure.
George Steck
George Steck pianos have been instruments of distinction since their 1884 inauguration in New York City. From the earliest days of the company's history, fame and awards have been a tradition. Honors such as the Gold Medal at Vienna in 1873, the Piano Award at the Philadelphia Centennial in 1876 and the 1893 Chicago Exhibit Award began the heritage of excellence that undergirds today's George Steck Company.
