Was born in New Jersey; has lived in Bakersfield since 1963

Is married with 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren

Started playing guitar at age 5 and attended private and group lessons at Gutcher’s Music in Bakersfield in the mid 1960’s

Influenced by Elvis at a young age, then later by the likes of John Fogerty, Jimmy Page, and Carlos Santana

Enjoys playing the blues

Teaches full time on site at California Keyboards and is am presently accepting new students of all ages, beginner through advanced

“For me, as a music teacher, the greatest feeling is to have a 10 or 11 year old student reading and playing music at advanced levels. Realizing that this child could some day pursue a degree in music, play in a band, or become a teacher is very rewarding and it’s what keeps me motivated to continue teaching and studying.”
