Plays with a number of local bands, including Chesterfield King & the Sultans of Swing (which he founded), Sanctuary, and Mento Buru among others.

Has performed with Ella Fitzgerald, Gerald Wilson, Eric Marienthal, Pete Escovedo, and other renowned Jazz greats
